1st BASE produces a comprehensive range of oligonucleotides to meet your research needs.
With Quality, Speed and Convenience as our motto, you only need to expect the best from us. Our stringent quality control procedures are put in place to monitor processes every step of the way.
1) Trityl monitoring at 3 stages during synthesis for every oligo
2) Every oligo is either HPLC or PAGE analyzed
3) Weekly batch sampling by ion-paired RP-HPLC
4) Weekly in-house PCR tests
5) “QC Recall Program” – Our stringent Pre-delivery Quality Controls ensure that all oligos are delivered in excellent condition.
At 1st BASE, our DNA Sequencing services are managed by a team of experts committed to providing high quality
services for your specific needs. We utilize the strengths of two distinct sequencing chemistries;
Terminator chemistry as well as Labeled Primer chemistry to offer versatility to take on your sequencing
requirements.
All peptides synthesized are provided with a complete quality control package,
which includes HPLC chromatograms to ensure purity and mass spectral analysis to confirm identity. Please send in your amino acid sequences for us to provide a quotation, and please include required yield and purity.
Protein (N-Terminal) Sequencing
Proteins samples are electro blotted to polyvinylidenedifluouride (PVDF) and stained with Coomassie Blue R-250
(please do not use Pierce GelCode Blue Stain or other pre-made stains as they may contain detergents,
which can interfere with some PTH amino acids).
When a large amount of protein (40-100 pmol) is available, running three to five lanes is helpful.
Multiple bands can be cut if needed, especially for higher molecular weight proteins.
If the amount of protein is limited (10-20 pmol), a single lane may be required to see the bands of interest
with Coomassie.
Custom Antibody Production
1st BASE provides a complete range of services for your polyclonal antibody project.
We offer full antibody production from the synthesis of your customized peptide,
all the way to affinity purification of your antibody.
Stringent monitoring in quality and titer checking by ELISA will be conducted throughout each project
to ensure specificity and sufficient amounts of your polyclonal antibody for your applications.
